I'm gonna make my heart a lead apron
out of all the bullets I planned to shoot
at you so even with your Xray super
intellect vision you won't know whether
it's beating or holding still. I'll make
a suit of armor for my liver, an iron safe
for my spleen, a stone casket for my
kidneys, an adamantine locket for
my brain. I'll have a ring of little keys
to unlock them and I'll feed you one
each night. I'll keep a foundry in the
kitchen hammer the thick anger you leave
behind.
